Intel Extreme Masters: supporting the magnification of global gaming competitions

In supporting the Intel team at Superfly with creative thinking and concepts, I leveraged my expertise to help elevate the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) experience from its early stages to a global phenomenon. Working with the programming team, we transformed IEM from small-scale competitions into sold-out arena events that attract millions of online viewers. By brainstorming and implementing innovative ideas, we crafted a multifaceted experience that integrates competitive gaming with Intel's consumer showcases, allowing fans to engage directly with cutting-edge technology. This approach not only drives product demand but also enriches the gaming community, reinforcing Intel's position as a leader in the industry.

Our collaborative efforts have led to the development of immersive experiences at every IEM event, from interactive technology demonstrations featuring Intel’s innovations to thrilling gaming competitions in popular titles. By focusing on hands-on experiences, we created memorable moments that resonate with both live audiences and the millions watching online. The success of IEM is evident in its explosive growth, with viewership skyrocketing from around 500,000 video sessions in its inaugural season to over 132.3 million by its tenth season.
